In the world of Radio Frequency… well any technology utilizing RF energy designers need to be aware of deisn of their circuit. In my particular niche of this field tooling and applications are the most difficult to delve into. Generally tool makers design tooling to seal a package or bond a swimming pool liner to any of the hundreds of applications this technology fufills. Unforunately tool and die manufacturers don’t have the specific experiences to consider the unique techniques to be mindful of in tooling design. 

Above is one such truth of RF energy. energy will be highly concentrated at sharp cormers as compared to radius corners, Overwelding in areas and premature arcing prior to the completed weld is very common.
